I was a tad un-restrained in my arrangement and ideas; Initially was thinking Cumbia, and a lot of it just \"happened sort of accidentally\" But it was certainly ALL my fault. I enjoy 'mixing in the box,' and for the first time used \"the King's Microphones\" which is an Abbey Road plug-in - - I learned they are great to make lots of things work in a mix - I'm a big Butch Vig vocals user, and the King's Mics are super useful. Is this too dorky to talk about? Butch is actually an old pal who's gone on to great success - he recorded my first 'record' at Smart Studio when it was in the Marquip building, and my early bands opened for Spooner and FireTown back in the day (Butch drummed in & produced those bands way before Nirvana & Garbage).
