    {"coolThingsLearned":"Learned about \\"reverse reverb\\" which is sweet!","toolsUsed":"Guitar, Drum kit, Ableton","happyAccidents":"I was trying to make a synth pad of my voice for background sounds, and it ended up not really working, but when I messed with some effects and nobs it's the synth instrument in my breakdown/bridge section","didntWork":"Don't think I got the second verse vocals to sound \\"funky\\", but I'll keep practicing"}

    {"coolThingsLearned":"First time chopping up a song, making a dance-y song","toolsUsed":"Garage Band only lol ","happyAccidents":"basically all of the vocal chops were totally throwing stuff against the wall ","didntWork":"throwing more synths at the thing doesn't automatically make it better"}

    {"coolThingsLearned":"I had never tried to recreate a song exactly before, it was a great way to dive into the song and understand the arrangement.","toolsUsed":"Guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, flute VST, Ableton","happyAccidents":"The more I tried to scream the vocals the better they seemed to sound?","didntWork":"The vocals in the original song have a very weird effect, it's almost like they're all octave doubled? I tried to recreate that but couldn't get as much depth as they got in the original song."}

    {"coolThingsLearned":"That Rosie and work well together. Forever being reminded to trust instinct whenever possible.","toolsUsed":"Digital Drums, Guitar: Epiphone Casino, Bass: Fender Jazz Bass, Keys: Soundbank Casio keyboard, Apple iphone voice recorder (all sounds), Audacity","happyAccidents":"First time I've felt comfortable on this guitar (a gift from my late Uncle) It's not an accident, but an unintended side effect may be that I spend more time playing and recording with it.","didntWork":"Changing the tempo worked like 75/80%. Turns out that it's really hard to change my own internal feel/tempo of a song I've heard thousands of times, even with a metronome. But I guess even that had an interesting side effect of making the whole piece more languid and heavy on some level."}

    {"coolThingsLearned":"Sidechain EQ! Very useful in this song because there's so much happening at the same time","toolsUsed":"Reaper","happyAccidents":"","didntWork":""}
